	Childhood Memories April 6–29, 2012 Opening Reception: Friday, April 6 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curator: David Kosar Memories are often the inspiration for art. This juried show is all about the artists' childhood. 	Love, Politics & Scrabble: The Games People Play February 3–26, 2012 Opening Reception: Friday, February 3 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curators: Barbara Boehm and Linda Elliff This show, juried by Virginia-based painter Moira McQuillen, asked artists to depict any of the numerous games people play in life, whether power, Monopoly, manipulation, poker, Angry Birds, baseball, or gossip. 	Artist Warriors: Post Apocalyptic Adventure January 6–29, 2012 Opening Reception: Friday, January 6 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curators: Zade Ramsey, Gorden Frank, and Drew Cariaso Imagine you are an artist surviving in the landscape of a post apocalyptic world. Artist warriors document this inhospitable world with artwork and the fashions to move through it. The causes of this apocalypse could be real or media created. Why should Hollywood have all the fun? 	It's All About The Little Things December 9–18, 2011 Opening Reception: Friday, December 9 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curators: Michele Reday Cook and Sarah Sertic It's all about the little things. Tiny, diminutive, miniature, but not quite microscopic. Some would say it's a small world—a very small world. The challenge to our artists was to see what they could create in 8"x10" or smaller, in two- or three-dimensional format.
	Del Ray Dozenz November 4–27, 2011 Opening Reception: Friday, November 4 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curators: Rob Rudick and Jen Chappell An all-photography, juried show building on the triumphs of past DRA photography shows with expanded participation to "dozenz" of Del Ray Artisans members. 	Get Sparked! Art inspired by writing October 7–30, 2011 Opening Reception: Friday, October 7 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curator: Amy Souza and Amanda Wright Join Del Ray Artisans and SPARK: art from writing/writing from art as we embark on an artistic journey that pushes boundaries. 	States of Mind August 5–28, 2011 [Board & Beyond Show] Opening Reception: Friday, August 5 from 7 pm – 10 pm Artists: Kimberley Bush, Ellyn Ferguson, Lesley Hall, Fransi Kaye, Katherine Rand, Gloria Vestal, and Tracy Wilkerson Über-volunteers exhibit encaustics with horsehair or raku, dreamlike landscapes, abstract art, figurative works, stained glass, handmade cards, jewelry, mixed media mirrors and more. 	Made In The U. S. A. July 1–22, 2011 Opening Reception: Friday, July 1 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curators: Drew Cariaso and Veronica Barker-Barzel Del Ray Artisans will be celebrating Independence Day and the month of July with artwork inspired by U.S. people, places and/or things. Artists are asked to create artwork with U.S.-made materials so as to emphasize both the origin of the materials and that we represent a large, important purchasing bloc. 	It's Only Rock 'n' Roll, But I Like It! April 1–May 1, 2011 Opening Reception: Friday, April 1 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curators: Fierce Sonia and Jen Chappell Del Ray Artisans pays homage to all things rock 'n' roll. 	Love Letters February 4–27, 2011 Opening Reception: Friday, February 4 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curators: Matthew Tito Cuenca and Tracy Wilkerson Whether you have it, lost it, want it, avoid it, need it or ignore it; love has made all of us do some pretty crazy things. 	From Our Perspective September 3–19, 2010 [Board Showcase] Meet-the-Artists Reception: Friday, September 10 from 7 pm – 10 pm Artists: Kathryn Brown, John Hiller, Paige Ireland, Marlin Lord Del Ray Artisans (DRA) is pleased to present the 7th annual Board Showcase titled From Our Perspective. 	Gathering of the Legends August 6–22, 2010 Opening Reception: Friday, August 6 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curator: Nina Tisara Meet Alexandria's Living Legends of 2009-2010. The exhibition is the culmination of this year's Living Legends of Alexandria program that features 30 of Alexandria's recent history makers. Twelve individuals or teams were selected from among the nominees as the 2009-2010 Living Legends of Alexandria: Chet Avery, Rosalind Bovey, V. Rodger Digilio, Nelson A. 	Global Rhythm July 2–18, 2010 Opening Reception: Friday, July 2 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curator: Matthew Tito Cuenca From Paul Gauguin to Amedeo Modigliani, artists have been inspired and entranced by the culture, people, and artistic vision of a foreign land. Whether it's their ethnic technique or the exotic appearance, artwork influenced by a foreign country opens the minds of fellow artists and patrons alike—displaying a visual passport to a new, beautiful and unfamiliar world. 	Undecided: A Dialogue Between Artist and Viewer June 4–27, 2010 [All Member Show] Opening Reception: Friday, June 4 from 7 pm – 10 pm Closing Reception: Sunday, June 27 from 5 pm – 7 pm Curator: Betty Plummer with Michele Reday Cook Art for this exhibit will be displayed with the titles hidden. Instead, beside each artwork will be a sheet on which viewers may submit their own titles for the works. As work is purchased, the title is revealed and there is an opportunity for the artist to share with the patron the vision that led to the creation of the work. 	Amanda Wright, Master Thesis May 21–30, 2010 Opening Reception: Friday, May 21 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curator: Amanda Wright Finding Beauty reflects how artist Amanda R. Wright responds to her present everyday environment and to the people within it. 	What’s Your Bag? April 2–25, 2010 Opening Reception: Friday, April 2 from 7 pm – 10 pm Closing Reception: Sunday, April 25 from 3 pm – 6 pm Curator: Theresa Kulstad and Karen Schmitz You usually don't go from point A to point B without a bag of some sort. Whether you are bringing food home, taking work home, travelling away from home, you are most likely using a bag. This show explores the bag in any form. View Photo Gallery
	Women in Art: Body of Work March 5-21, 2010 Opening Reception: Friday, March 5 from 7 pm – 10 pm Curator: Ellyn Ferguson with Vivienne Lukacs and Beverly Hansen To be a woman is to be many things: goddess, Madonna, healer, friend, siren or saint.
