Imagine you are an artist surviving in the landscape of a post apocalyptic world. Artist warriors document this inhospitable world with artwork and the fashions to move through it. It's all about the little things. Tiny, diminutive, miniature, but not quite microscopic. Some would say it's a small world—a very small world. The challenge to our artists was to see what they could create in 8"x10" or smaller, in two- or three-dimensional format.

Del Ray Artisans will be celebrating Independence Day and the month of July with artwork inspired by U.S. people, places and/or things. Artists are asked to create artwork with U.S.-made materials so as to emphasize both the origin of the materials and that we represent a large, important purchasing bloc. Art for this exhibit will be displayed with the titles hidden. Instead, beside each artwork will be a sheet on which viewers may submit their own titles for the works. As work is purchased, the title is revealed and there is an opportunity for the artist to share with the patron the vision that led to the creation of the work.
