Call for Entry: Clowning Around
Digital entries due: Monday, July 24 by midnight. Clowns have always evoked a variety of emotions from people. Express your inner clown through art in fun, playful, sadistic, comedic, or tragic ways. Many people are happy clown believers, drawn towards fanciful circus graphics or sympathetic weeping hobo clowns. Others prefer their clowns sinister, with creepy figures lurking in dark alleys. We are asking artists to have some fun and pick a side: Happy or Scary. Join us in this romp with a truly American genre. Open to all area artists. Entry Form at DelRayArtisans.org/2017/05/clowning-around-cfe
Call for Proposals: 2018 Art Exhibits at Del Ray Artisans
Proposal deadline extended to Monday, July 31. Del Ray Artisans is currently soliciting show proposals for 2018. The show proposal committee will review all proposals and make recommendations to the Board for final approval. Questions may be emailed to Kathy Turner, Director of Curating, at Curating@DelRayArtisans.org. Proposal form at DelRayArtisans.org/2017/05/2018-exhibit-proposal
Clowning Around Art Exhibit Opening Reception

Call for Entry: Captured Beauty - A Photography Exhibition
Digital entries due: Saturday, August 26 by midnight. Del Ray Artisans and Union 206 Studio are seeking fine art photography that showcases artists’ visions of beauty. Art pieces will demonstrate careful staging, composition and lighting of the subject, as well thoughtful post-processing techniques (if desired) and selection of production material to make an individual expression. Open to all area artists. Entry Form at DelRayArtisans.org/2017/06/captured-beauty-cfe
