Greetings DRA members! Celebrating Movement artwork drop off dates are this Sunday, Nov 21 from 7-9 pm and Monday, Nov 22 from 6-9 pm! Download the Call for Entry: DelRayArtisans.org/shows/calls/Due-2010-11-22-Movement.pdf

New Opportunity: There will also be a Mini Marketplace throughout the weekend. When you drop-off your artwork, you may bring items that fit in art bins. This includes any flat art pieces, semi-flat pieces, or smaller items (such as jewelry). Foam core will be available to use for display or attachment of these items.

Please note: Artists may bring up to five items to place in bins, but remember, you are only allowed one item for artwork display.

The Exhibition & Events: Celebrating Movement

* Special One Weekend Show at DRA from November 26-28 *

See the Show over Thanksgiving weekend! The DRA gallery is hosting an art show plus great events on Friday & Saturday nights and Sunday afternoon. The show kicks off Friday at noon and runs through Sunday at 6 pm. For more info visit DelRayArtisans.org or the DRA Facebook page.

Jazzy Art View is Friday evening from 7-9 pm. Visit the gallery Friday evening and enjoy perusing the artwork while listening to the jazzy sounds of the NVCC Alexandria Jazz Ensemble, Wrong Note.

Red Hot Salsa is Saturday evening from 7-9 pm. Join us and watch salsa dancers do their thing! Participate in Salsa lessons, and then stick around while we open the floor for some red hot dancing!

Poetry Tea Party is Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm. Bring a poem or two that you wrote to share during 'open mic' time or just come to hear others share. Stay around to chat with fellow poets while enjoying light refreshments fitting for a tea party!
