DRA ANNUAL MEETING with ELECTIONS is THIS SUNDAY,
October 17 from 4 - 6pm
Excitement is in the autumn air as DRA approaches our Annual Member Meeting this Sunday at the gallery! Those attending will be the first to hear the "unveiling" of our 2011 calendar of shows! Our artist members will be able to start their planning now!
Our special program will be a FOCUS on MEMBERS--especially our newest members who joined DRA in 2010. All members will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, and all of our new members who are artists are invited to bring one sample of their art to show and describe, so we all have a chance to learn about each other in person.
We also have elections, and there have been some updates to the slate which was presented previously in The Well Crafted Word. Here is the current slate of nominees for DRA's 2011 Board of Directors:

We need YOU to voice your opinion in DRA elections so, if you cannot attend on Sunday, we urge you to make a Proxy vote. Please do this by emailing your vote (you can vote yea or nay for the entire slate if you choose) to DRA.Secretary@gmail.com, or by calling the gallery at 703-838-4827 on Thursday (10/14) or Friday (10/15) afternoon. The new Board will begin its duties on January 1, 2011.
There will be light refreshments and a chance to view the current show "Once Upon A Time" if you haven't seen it already. See you there this Sunday!
