Since the beginning of time, artists have attempted to capture the human figure in all its diversity. Ancient drawings and sculptures may have been symbols of fertility or of great bravery. The human figure was depicted as deities and in religious rites.

 2008 Summer Children Art Camp

KIDS GET CREATIVE with a one week art making camp starting off with making their own journal / sketchbook to be used along side with other art activities including: painting, drawing, collage, fiber fun, mixed medium, games and more. The only skills required are a desire to learn and an imagination. The Camp is laid out into two classrooms limited to 15 student each for a total enrollment of 30 art camp students.  DRA is committed to making this community art camp financially accessible for any age qualified child with available special scholarships and sliding scale fees. COST:     $275
“Early Birdie” special rate of $250 for registrations received before June 14, 2008.

CAMP FEE INCLUDES: Professional Artist instructors and Camp Teachers; All project art supplies; Healthy daily lunch and nutritious snacks; Swim and splash* (*Pool schedule still pending)
