DRA has completed the 2007 Adopt A Park program for the City.  We have adopted the Colasanto Park and will continue to improve the appearance of the area surrounding the gallery, and additionally the environment, by picking up litter while earning points in the program.  Through the diligent efforts of DRA volunteers we have earned 91 points out of 96 points available.  More points mean more dollars, and we have been rewarded with $910 for our efforts in 2007.   

DRA has been in the Adopt a Park program for approximately 10 years.  The many DRA members who have earned hours towards their 10 required volunteer hours per year were rewarded with the honor of helping raise funds for DRA, improving the environment, and enjoying fresh air and sunshine.  Those DRA members will be honored at the upcoming volunteer recognition party.  DRA looks forward to 2008 and earning all of the 96 points!
