Volunteer Opportunities

Del Ray Artisans is a community of artists and non-artists who understand and appreciate the impact that the Arts have on our community as a whole. By using the Arts to reach out to everyone, we can build a stronger, more vital place to live and work. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and needed to forward this mission. Our volunteers:

Help with exhibit installations & opening receptions
Work in our garden
Guide children with arts and crafts projects
Help with mailings

Write for our newsletter
Help with special events & fundraisers
Adopt-a-park/ clean up our park

Gardening

Have you got a green thumb? Del Ray Artisans is looking for garden volunters. Contact Volunteers@TheDelRayArtisans.org or Gardens@TheDelRayArtisans.org for details.

Help with Program Workshops

[DRA members only] This is another rewarding way to meet your volunteer commitment and takes less than 1/2 hour per workshop. Duties include taking role, collecting fees, and placing fees in a lockbox. Interested members should contact Volunteers@TheDelRayArtisans.org or Programs@TheDelRayArtisans.org for details.

Pick Up Litter

We need help with litter pick-up in Colasanto Park from March through November. Inspections are on Mondays, so Sunday is the best pick-up day but not a hard rule. If you are interested in assisting, contact AdoptAPark@TheDelRayArtisans.org.

[DRA members only] DRA is forming several small groups of volunteers to help coordinate our participation in community events.
