Before the camera, much of what we knew about nature came from artists and others who drew and painted what they saw and experienced. The exhibit features work from Del Ray Artisans member artists and local high school and college students. The exhibit runs from March 2-April 1. Details at DelRayArtisans.org/event/outdoors-in

Touch-of-Magic

Call for Entry: A Touch of Magic

Digital entries due: Monday, March 26 by midnight. Magic is what we believe it is. We can see it as subtle or bold, complex or simple. Magical inspirations can vary with culture, age, beliefs, experience, physiology, and even pharmacology. We can suspect that magic created that special moment of connection, that fulfilled dream, that rare experience, the unexpected beauty, or that amazing phenomenon others seem to think is just the edge of new science. Explore the magic we see in the world around us and share in the art of everyday mysteries, miracles, marvels, and dreams. Open to all local artists.
