Art Squared Art Exhibit Opening Reception

Friday, February 2 from 7-9pm. Art² (Art Squared) explores the synergy of art with mathematics, science, technology, and engineering. Symmetry, geometry, and measurement create artwork. Scientific disciplines inspire art—anatomy builds figure paintings, geology pervades landscapes, and meteorological events create drama. Exhibit runs February 2-25, 2018, overlapping National Engineering Week. Details at DelRayArtisans.org/event/art2

Call for Entry: Outdoors In

Digital entries due: Monday, February 12 by midnight. Art and nature have been closely linked from the time of cave drawings. Before the camera was in common usage, what we learned about the nature of things and our environment came largely through the work of artists. Open to Del Ray Artisans members and all local high school and college students. Details and Entry Form at DelRayArtisans.org/2017/12/outdoors-in-cfe
